This is truly a classic cannabis strain. As Leafly described, “Among the most famous strains worldwide is White Widow, a balanced hybrid first bred in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds. A cross between a Brazilian sativa landrace and a resin-heavy South Indian indica, White Widow has blessed every Dutch coffee shop menu since its birth in the 1990s. Its buds are white with crystal resin, warning you of the potent effects to come. A powerful burst of euphoria and energy breaks through immediately, stimulating both conversation and creativity. White Widow’s genetics have given rise to many other legends like White Russian, White Rhino, and Blue Widow.”
How can you go wrong with White Widow?
There are many variations of White Widow but the most outstanding characteristic is it’s intense euphoria with energy. Redecan rendition is a slower ten to fifteen minutes build towards the euphoria. Some White Widow strains hit harder and faster and can be very cerebral. This is not one of those White Widow strains.
The Redecan’s White Widow is good for the end of the day chill puff. Consumed in joints the effects take about twenty minutes to reach peak effect. You will feel euphoric and happy with a medium time dilation distortion. This is perfect for chilling with friends, or significant other, watch Netflix, or an evening walk because you will have energy as in not feeling tired. There is a little couch lock effect because of time dilation and memory distortion of medium strength.
Unable to compare Redecan to other LPs’ White Widow, we compared to existing grey market White Widow. Redecan is slightly below or around the grey market vendors’ rendition.
White Widow by Redecan
While the bud was not bone dry brittle, it was dry, which may be great for vaping.
Redecan rendition of White Widow is following a trend of delivering the expected effects by LPs. While some may be below the grey market in quality, they all deliver a solid two hour high with clean tapering down, as in you don’t get lethargic after two hours.
