The hybrid is misleading because it is a cross between two Indica dominant strains.  We are always cautious to LP’s new strains as Bali Kush is a strain unique to Liiv.

Expectations are always high for special strains.  We understand the branding exercise, or is it an escape from direct comparison to what is expected?  If it fails to impress a daily user, it is an escape from direct comparison.  A unique strain has to deliver and Bali Kush fails for the daily user.

For an Indica dominant hybrid,  the best effect is as the first smoke of the day.  It starts with a happy sense rising with some euphoria for the first half hour.  The intensity is strongest within the first 45 minutes.   The high experience descend is fast and smooth and within two hours you are normalized with residue relax feelings.  Within one hour, you descend is rapid but very little burnout, which is surprising for an indica dominant strain.

The Indica body effect is there albeit very mild.  You can feel relaxation in your body.  It could have gone unnoticed.  Given the type of high it is, Bali Kush is good for novice to medium users.  It has no anxiety and it is relax and happy at a low-medium intensity level.  Perfect occasion is a day wedding ceremony, a morning walk or just want to waste a beautiful lazy morning.  Night time use is less effective especially for daily users.  It does not have the potency to make a meaningful impact after a day of smoking.

This is a very balanced hybrid despite it’s heritage of Afghan and Kush, two dominant Indica strains.  The result of the combination is a mild relax and happy high of low to medium intensity.  The flowers are of course very dry and breaks into dust like most LPs’ products.

While we do not recommend for daily users, we believe this is a good strain for novice to occasional users.  It is very balanced and should provide the right amount of relax and happy sense of self.  The perfect occasion for Bali Kush is an occasion where you are just there to enjoy yourself like a breakfast or lunch with old friends and you want to feel relax and happy but totally in the moment too. It is great for lounging around reading magazines and just enjoying a lazy afternoon.  Nothing too strenuous is a good activity for an indica dominant strain.
