Strain Integrity
According to Leafly, ” Among the most famous strains worldwide is White Widow, a balanced hybrid first bred in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds. A cross between a Brazilian sativa landrace and a resin-heavy South Indian indica, White Widow has blessed every Dutch coffee shop menu since its birth in the 1990s. Its buds are white with crystal resin, warning you of the potent effects to come. A powerful burst of euphoria and energy breaks through immediately, stimulating both conversation and creativity. White Widow’s genetics have given rise to many other legends like White Russian, White Rhino, and Blue Widow. ”
According to 7 Acres, ” 7Acres’ White Widow is a hybrid that has the Widow’s classic aromatic profile (woodsy and piney from the terpinolene and alpha-pinene terpenes) and visual properties (dense flowers with a coating of white trichomes that give it its name). It’s grown indoors and sun-enriched to improve its dense flower structure, and then slow-dried, artisan-cured and hand-polished.”
A Staple White Widow
7 Acres produces a handful of strains and White Widow is one of them. We have noticed a trend in the quality of the flower from different producers. 7 Acres, Broken Coast and WEEDMD package full buds and literally no shakes (broken pieces of leaves). Buds from the Edison, Altavie and Aurora have broken pieces of green, which really shows a lack of appreciation and understanding of the herb. These are the first LPs and they are really bankers and business people with no appreciation for the herb. 7 Acres’ White Widow has only buds in the container. Well done! Your customer appreciates it.
Happy, euphoric and relaxed are the key effects of White Widow. While 7 Acres White Widow is not a creeper, it is not a rocketship either. The high builds at a steady pace to peak at around 15 minutes after inhalation. A sense of overwhelming well being envelopes you and any anxiety you may have melts away. There is a tiny body relaxant happening and builds over the first hour. The intensity peaks in the first 15 minutes and levels off at that peak for about 20 minutes before you get into a cruising mode … a more functional mode for the next hour.
Conclusion
White Widow by 7 Acres
White Widow is a very popular strain and accordingly it is one of the most produced strains in the grey market. Against this backdrop, it is very difficult to produce a truly outstanding version. We would rate 7 Acres White Widow as the best we have tried from LPs. Against grey market crafters, it is slightly below in duration. The best White Widow hits hard and last for a solid two hours tapering off for the next couple of hours for a total of 4 hours. 7 Acres hits hard for about 45 minutes and the cruise down is complete after 3 hours.

7 Acres White Widow is good for relieving anxiety. It is perfect after a hard day of work to chill and relax. It is a feel good high. While it is does not provide the sativa sociability, White Widow does not put you into a cocoon of self absorption like a heavy Indica but it also does not make you chatty. With White Widow, you just feel really good and only speak when spoken to.
