Strain Integrity
According to Leafly, “ Jean Guy, said to be a phenotype of White Widow, is a hybrid from Canada with intensely cerebral effects and a sour citrus smell. Frosted dark green leaves hide pastel buds loaded with golden crystal trichomes. Hints of lemon and pine come through in Jean Guy’s flavor, providing a gentle launch into jolting sativa effects. Its energizing and uplifting qualities makes Jean Guy a perfect strain to start the day with, although scattered and distracting thoughts may interfere with productivity. Jean Guy is a reputable source of relief for fibromyalgia and cancer symptoms, but patients prone to anxiety may want to dose with caution due to its typically high THC content. ”
According to Wikileaf, ” This strain is great for a wake and bake stone; it’s effects are both uplifting and energizing. Scatter brained thoughts and musing can result when consumed beyond moderation, as the cerebral effects may become intense and interfere with productivity. Jean Guy is oftentimes used to assist in the alleviation for those suffering Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, and cancer symptoms. Be advised, it may spike anxiety for those patients predisposed to experiencing it, so it is wise to use it in moderation. ”
From the OCS website, ” Jean Guy’s limonene-rich terpene profile gives it its signature citrusy taste. The very green sativa-dominant strain is greenhouse-grown in a natural and ecologically friendly environment, and has very strong THC potency. ”
No Bullshit, Just Weed
Good Supply has a huge reputation for no BS just good weed. Good Supply products empty fast from the shelves. We ordered this immediately when it appeared. It was gone in 2 days. Here is the review.
This Good Supply’s Jean Guy is a little different than RIFF’s Sweet Jersey 3 aka Jean Guy. The “high” is immediate and has an accelerant to the take off. This is not the introvert and intellectual Jean Guy. Good Supply’s Jean Guy is flowing with energy, uplift and strong cerebral stimulation. Ten minutes after inhalation, the acceleration is undeniable. The take off alone is worth the price of admission. By the 15 minute mark, we were solidly placed in a new happy vibrant reality. Oh yeah, shades of DT81!
There is copious amount of happiness and joy making this Jean Guy an extrovert. Physical effects include brain tingling, slight eye pressure, lightness of shoulders and chest and increase heart beats. Our test amount was 0.26 grams per person. The entire experience is about two and a half hours to three hours. There is little negative effects like tiredness at the end.
Can we say something bad? Yea, there’s stalks and shakes and very unappealing look. It is not that flavourful. It comes in a bag that squishes the flowers. We had to transfer the content to a beautiful glass jar from TGOD to prevent further damage to the product. (Note TGOD products cost twice as much.) The product ran out in a day and a half and there was no volume offering.
Activity pairing is everything you do will be better with Good Supply’s Jean Guy. The high positive energy and vibes are ingredients that makes everything better. This is also a very weaponizable strain. We envision this could be very productive for our work at both mental and physical levels.
Finally, here is something puzzling for us. Jean Guy by RIFF and Good Supply is from the same breeder, House of the Great Gardiner. We know Aphria sources their growing from a variety of places and growers. Our conclusion is two different growers with the same strain produced two very different “high” experience for us. This gives legitimacy to drop the strain thing? No, for us strain points to a type of effects and the end effect is always unique to the grower. We consume base on the grower and effect as the bottom line. We use strains as guide post to where we should be going. Just in case you are wondering ….
Conclusion
Jean Guy by Good Supply (Aphria)
Good Supply is gaining a legendary status as a provider of good cheap weed. Their products do not stay on the shelves for long and are empty more often than not. Good Supply is Aphria’s low end brand. The product ships in a low end package with low end visual appeal but the “highs” are very impactful with full intense effects. Good Supply’s Jean Guy is a prefect example of cheap price with top quality effects. Grab it if you see it.

Ladies and Gentlemen! We have a WINNER! It’s MR. GOOD SUPPLY! This is as good as it gets. It’s cheap table wine price with a champagne taste and effect. We are literally blow away by the quality and the low price. If you snooze, you lose with Good Supply. Just buy it. Highly recommended!
On an investment note, Aphria refinanced before the market imploded. All eyes will be on Aphria as a bell weather to the health of the legal cannabis industry. Unlike Cronos, Canopy and Hexo all with bigger corporate partners, Aphria is on their own so there is no safety net. We are cheering for you, Aphria. Now, where the hell is the DT81? It’s been freaking months.
