Strain Integrity
According to the OCS website, ” Lemon Z is a balanced hybrid strain that is the result of crossing Lemon Skunk and Zktlz strains. Flowers are a lush green with yellow pistils that are covered in resinous crystals. ”
According to Leafly, ” Lemon Skunk was bred from two separate Skunk phenotypes that displayed exceptionally zesty lemon traits. The skunky, citrus flavor draws you in immediately, and the happy, energetic buzz will shake you out of any funk. DNA Genetics has developed Lemon Skunk as a great strain for combating depression and stress. ”
And, ” Zkittlez is an indica-dominant mix of Grape Ape and Grapefruit that is crossed with another undisclosed strain to produce this candy-flavored strain bred by 3rd Gen Family and Terp Hogz. This award-winning combination took 1st Place at the 2016 Emerald Cup and 1st Place Indica at the 2015 Cannabis Cups in San Francisco and in Michigan. The chunky colas explode in a spectrum of light green hues and emit a sweet, tropical blend of fruit flavors. The effects of Zkittlez are calming, leaving consumers focused, alert, and happy while relaxing the body to help unwind any time of day. ”
Note: We have spent too much time trying to decipher Mezzerro brand. We conclude that the Mezzero grower is from one of a multitude of federally licensed cultivators working with CannMart.
Heavy hitter
We truly believe expectation is a destroyer of life’s experience. We have “Zero” expectations for Lemon Z from Mezzero … from who? you may ask? Mezzerro. Who’s that? No idea. Holy Batman! this is really good! Packaged on March 16, 2020, Lemon Z by Mezzero had 18.14% THC and cost $32.95 for 3.5 grams.
The “high” is like a rocketship. Lemon Z taste smooth with hints of sweet lemon. This stuff is super fresh with an exotic spicy scent and a faint citrus background. Time dilation kicks in so hard twenty minutes vapourized in two blinks of an eye. It has been a while since we got this “high” with this type of intensity and lift. There is a nice blend of euphoria, creativity, optimism and energy … shades of DT81. Oh yeah, this is good.
This is a heavy hitting vibrant sativa. The “high” fully envelopes us with energy euphoria in a creative bliss. After an hour, the slow decline is a tune down version of the first hour. It has been a while since we tried a strain that literally stops us on our track and says “Hello.” Lemon Z gave us a very satisfying experience.
Activity pairing for this vibrant sativa is any activity, anytime and anywhere. The energy can sustain physical demands while euphoria and a sense of excitement with colourful imaginations go well with almost anything.
Conclusion

We have an impressive lineup for review for the next week. In our opinion, this was supposed to be the weakest strain in the lineup because it was the cheapest? Would we buy this again? Yes. But, we like to see lower price on a higher volume offering.
On an investment note, our focus has been on the global economic state. While it is absolutely fascinating watching a train wreck in slow motion, we are truly fearful for the future. We have never experience this before. We don’t really know how all of this pandemic is going to go …. All of this just made surviving in the cannabis business even more challenging in an ever tightening capital market.
