Strain Integrity
According to 7 Acres, ” High THC cultivar selected by the passionate growers at 7ACRES. Kush Cake is an indica-dominant hybrid that combines vanilla, grape and gassy notes for a one of a kind sensorial experience. Genetics: Wedding Cake x Purple Punch. Small batch indoor grown, hang dried, hand trimmed and masterfully cured. Limited Quantities Available. ”
From Leafly on Wedding Crasher, ” Produced by Symbiotic Genetics, Wedding Crasher is a beautiful cross of Wedding Cake and Purple Punch. By mixing the smooth vanilla flavors of Wedding Cake with the sweet grape notes of Purple Punch, Symbiotic has developed a mellow, earthy strain with sharp gassy highlights and a sweet berry finish. ”
And Purple Punch, ” Purple Punch is the sweet and sedating union of two indica-dominant classics. By breeding Larry OG with Granddaddy Purple, the astonishing trichome laden Purple Punch was born, smelling of grape candy, blueberry muffins, and tart Kool-Aid. The potency of this strain gives the consumer a one-two punch to the head and body, initially landing between the eyes and settling down into the limbs. Purple Punch is a delicious dessert strain that is best suited for after dinner. Its effects may help with managing nausea, stress, minor body aches, and sleeplessness. ”
From GTEC, the craft grower, under the name Wedding Crasher, ” Wedding Crasher is an exotic indica-dominant hybrid that blends the smooth vanilla flavours of Wedding Cake, with the sweet grape notes of Purple Punch. This is a mellow, earthy strain with sharp gassy highlights, and a powerful nose. ”
Now that we are suitably confused with the musical names, let’s test it out.
Floatville
Kush Cake put us in an elevated sedated state of mind on the Throne of Calmness. In this world, we float effortlessly as a calm relaxing breeze. This is Floatville where we are subjected to calm relaxing waves that lift us up from our physical constraints. Kush Cake aka Wedding Crasher by GTEC from 7 Acres Craft Collective is another exotica review. Packaged on March 5th, 2020, Kush Cake with 19.39% THC the scent was exoticly sweet kushy citrus.
Kush Cake’s “high” is all out being chilled. Our inhalation session began with a kushy fruity flavour signalling something special is being consumed. Sedation begins to seep into our minds and bodies shortly after inhalation as we enter a new reality. After 5 minutes, we begin to walk on a magic carpet giving us a sense of elevation. Our worries and anxieties fade away stress freed. The first 45 minutes passes by quickly and noticed only because the intensity started to subside as we start the long de-stoning phase. This strain effects lasted a few hours and we felt tired at the end. Out test amount was 0.26 grams.
Like the last review, we amped up the amount to 0.45 grams and when for the walking/shopping review protocol. As always, the beginning of the “high” was very energetic but our floaty walk was a bit off cadence. The problem was on the way back where it went from floating around to dragging a couple of heavy anchors with each step. Walking was so tiring and each step was a herculean effort. In hindsight, upping the volume was probably not a good idea for this strain on a moderately demanding physical activity.
Activity pairing clearly should avoid demanding physical activities. This is the perfect strain for that day when everything went wrong. Kush Cake aka Wedding Crasher is a cannabis sedative. We would recommend this to finish an eventful day with a chilled and stress free state of mind and body. We stopped thinking and floated away.
Conclusion
Kush Cake (Wedding Crasher) by GTEC from 7 Acres Craft Collective
We are living the good life with exotica reviews! Kush Cake aka Wedding Crasher by GTEC and packaged by 7 Acres Craft Collective is an exotic strain with a smooth exotic flavour and crushing relaxation. We enjoyed Kush Cake expanding our experience and horizon.

Would we buy this again? Not at these price levels. There are many strains available just as potent and effective and at lower prices. As fans of cannabis, we will try it once. Redecan Wappa or expensive FIGR Wappa are all good cheaper substitutes. While we do truly appreciate the skills of these cultivars, we don’t really know where they got the idea there is a market for over $440 an ounce cannabis? If there is, it is super tiny and not something to build a business on.
On an investment note, GTEC is a small craft grower who is also public. With only 39,000 sq. ft. and 4,000 kg of production, GTEC is micro size and distribution is by 7 Acres Craft Collective. Given the consumer price of $15.99 a gram, GTEC average recreational selling price is $9.42 a gram and $4.77 for B2B wholesale for a total weighted average selling price of $6.24 per gram. The need to generate cash (increase price) and to be competitive (decrease price) is a tough balancing act. This is also legal cannabis 2.0 for cultivars in terms of what it really cost to produce and how to move down that cost curve to survive. JWC, Beleave and Invictus are some of the public LPs currently in bankruptcy and we should learn from their mistakes. We are rooting for you, GTEC.
