Strain Integrity

According to the OCS website, ” High-quality indica-dominant bud at a great price; Good Supply is taking it to the next level with Grower’s Choice.

Note: Based on rumours ^.^  the Grower’s Choice Indica is a Shiskaberry.  It does feel like a Shiskaberry so we are going with that.

According to Leafly, ” Shishkaberry, or “Kish,” is an indica-dominant hybrid that came about from crossing DJ Short Blueberry with an unknown Afghani strain. This plant will mature in 8 to 9 weeks and should yield a fairly high amount of flowers. Shiskaberry’s buds have a fruit and berry aroma and will be painted with shades of purple. Its initial head buzz is happy and good for finishing things up or being social, but will slip into a lazy high over time.

Are you “Kished?”

The Shiskaberry strain is an Indica with strong Sativa effects similar to Sensi Star, MK Ultra or Ultra Sour (Indica dominant).   Grower’s Choice Indica by Good Supply provides a bright vibrant clear creative and euphoric high on a functional platform.  At a cost of $25.45 for 3.5 grams, our Grower’s Choice Indica packaged on February 11, 2020, with 18.52% THC, had little scent and was dry.

The “high” comes almost immediately as we began our session.  While there was little scent, the taste was ok with some hints of berries.  Our minds became crystal clear and the energy flow was strong.  There is a strong sense of optimism and happiness.  By the 15 minute mark, we are fully engaged and transported to a new world.  While there are time dilation and memory discontinuities, we were fully functional and engaged.  This is sativa at it’s best with the forcefulness of an indica.

The “high” is about two hours in duration.  After the first hour, the Indica heritage seeps in and we began to feel a bit of lethargicness.   Our mental focus became hazier towards the end, which is a classic Indica ending.  We felt satisfied and thought “What’s wrong with this “high?””  Nothing.

Activity pairing should be more evening oriented activities.  While the first hour is full of energy and vibrancy, the last hour is an Indica landing, which means tiredness and fatigue.   This strain performed really well in our shopping review protocol as this was a functional strain.  We recommend this strain as a starter to any evening festivities.

Conclusion

Grower’s Choice Indica by Good Supply (Aphria)

There are a lot of good legal cannabis at decent prices with impactful experiences.  At $25.45 for 3.5 grams, Grower’s Choice Indica by Good Supply delivers a solid experience.  We found this strain to be energetic, vibrant and mentally stimulating making it perfect for getting things done.

THC: 18.52%

Quality: 7.9

Intensity: 7.9

Duration: 8.0

Total: 7.9

Cost:  $25.45 for 3.5 grams

Would we buy this again? Yes.  Grower’s Choice Indica by Good Supply delivers a solid “high” for half the price of premium strains.  We have had better Shiskaberry rendition from the grey market but they also cost $40 for 3.5 grams.  This is a low cost Shiskaberry strain with all the bells and whistles albeit at a lower intensity.  There is a place for a strong functional “high.”

On an investment note, Good Supply’s products are extremely effective against the grey market products.   We believe the cannabis market is finding its stride as quality improves and prices drop.  The latest good news is Aphria converted a portion of debt to shares, which is excellent.  Let’s not look at the rest of the World ….
