Strain Integrity
According to Leafly, “ Shishkaberry, or “Kish,” is an indica-dominant hybrid that came about from crossing DJ Short Blueberry with an unknown Afghani strain. This plant will mature in 8 to 9 weeks and should yield a fairly high amount of flowers. Shishkaberry’s buds have a fruit and berry aroma and will be painted with shades of purple. Its initial head buzz is happy and good for finishing things up or being social, but will slip into a lazy high over time. ”
From the OCS website, ” Shiskaberry from Redecan is an indica-dominant strain with dense, spade-shaped dark olive green nugs, minty green leaves and furry dark amber hairs with a thick, frosty coating of white trichomes. Greenhouse-grown in the Niagara region, this strain’s sweet, earthy-fresh aroma is a product of the beta- and trans-caryophyllene, myrcene, limonene and humulene in its terpene profile. It has medium THC potency and is available as 1 g, 3.5 g, 7 g and 15 g packages of dried flower. ”
Incredible price drop review
Shishkaberry by Redecan price dropped from $9.13 to $4.71 a gram. With 16.5% THC and packaged on February 11, 2020, Redecan’s Shishkaberry have a strong floral citrusy scent and fresh. This is the nicest smelling $5 a gram weed we have bought. The Aurora’s Special Indica was good but this smells even better and cheaper. We are so excited to try this.
The “high” is a Shishkaberry experience started with a refreshing uptick to our mental awareness and a blend of euphoria in a creative flow. There is a uplifting buzziness in the background with a slight increase in emotional excitement. Over the first 15 minutes, the energy level increase smoothly with euphoria eliminating any hints of anxiety attacks. Shishkaberry as an Indica is similar to Sensi Star, MK Ultra or Ultra Sour in delivering a vibrant sativa experience for the first hour. Redecan’s Shishkaberry delivered everything we expected for under $5 a gram!
The bottom line is that this is a solid mid-strength flower. We got everything we expect from a Shishkaberry at medium intensity at rock bottom price. This is not a Broken Coast Quadra where we may be hanging on for our dear lives because we consumed too much. This is a solid strain delivering decent Shishkaberry effects for cheap.
Activity pairing is for anytime an energy and a vibrant mental refresh is required. The “high” is best for a quick pickup in the evening. The key is not to be involved in physically demanding activities because the last hour is a little bit tiring.
Conclusion
Shishkaberry by Redecan
A 48% price drop? What does that mean? Our curiosity got the better of us and we approve! Shishkaberry by Redecan for as low as $4.07 a gram or $61 for a half oz. This is a crazy good price. And, we like it.
THC: 16.5%
Quality: 7.7
Intensity: 7.5
Duration: 7.7
Total: 7.6
Cost: $16.50 for 3.5 grams
To put price into perspective, Broken Coast cost $48 for 3.5 grams. This Shishkaberry is a third of that price and Broken Coast is not 3X better than Redecan. There is a great value to Redecan Shishkaberry. Would we buy this again? Yes.
On an investment note, TGOD 2020 first quarterly results with $536,000 of Canadian cannabis sale out of $3.06 million in revenues was bleak. On the same day, TGOD announced their Highly Dutch Organic offering of 28 grams packaging to target the mainstream market. We really like TGOD products and wish them the best in their new product strategy. Aurora and Hexo lowering their prices with volume offerings have resulted in dramatic revenue increases. And, Redecan is abusing this strategy.
