Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, ” Pink Kush, as coveted as its OG Kush relative, is an indica-dominant hybrid with powerful body-focused effects. In its exceptional variations, pink hairs burst from bright green buds barely visible under a blanket of sugar-like trichomes, with traces of a sweet vanilla and candy perfume. The potency of this strain could be considered overpowering, and even small doses are known to eliminate pain, insomnia, and appetite loss.

And from the OCS website, ” Haven St. No. 418 Big Dipper may boast sweet notes of vanilla and berries with underlying floral tones. Also known as Pink Kush, this sativa-dominant strain is machine-trimmed and hand-groomed and has a strong THC potency potential.

Note:  OCS is wrong as Pink Kush is not a sativa dominant strain.

It’s not a Sativa?

We were looking for a sativa from Haven St. and we bought No 418 Big Dipper by Haven St. because we did not see “Pink Kush” just before “sativa-dominant.”  If we did, we would have known it is an Indica and not a Sativa.   Packaged on May 7th, 2020, Big Dipper cost $34.15 for 3.5 grams with 18.42% THC smelling dank.

The “high” is a classic Pink Kush.  Our inhalation session was a slow burn and took a full ten minutes, which is long.  By the end of the inhalation session, we were fully absorbed into a relax and blissful world.  No 418 Big Dipper delivers the Indica healing effects like blissful euphoria calmness with energy to rejuvenate at the same time.   Getting “high” on Indica is like jumping on a magic carpet ride and this ride is called the Big Dipper.

Activity pairing is best for evening time.  Pink Kush has a heavy ending that can send us to the pillows.  Heavy Indica is usually the last slot of the day in our rotation.  We recommend this No 418 Big Dipper by Haven St. for rejuvenation with strong relaxing Indica bliss ending in a deep slumber.  Sometimes, that is just the most wonderful feeling in the World.

Conclusion

No 418 Big Dipper (Pink Kush) by Haven St. (TerrAscend)

We enjoyed White Light and excited to review No 418 Big Dipper aka Pink Kush.   Pink Kush is probably one of the more popular strain offering making it difficult  to stand out.   We did, however, enjoy No 418 Big Dipper by Haven St. and recommend trying this version.

THC: 18.42%

Quality:  7.8

Intensity:  7.8

Duration: 8.0

Total: 7.9

Cost: $34.15 for 3.5 grams

Would we buy this again?  Yes if it’s cheaper with higher volume offering.  At this price point just below $10 a gram, we give the advantage to RIFF’s products as their effects are comparable to $12 to $13 a gram products.  But if you have not tried Haven St.’s Pink Kush, it is worth checking out because it is a well rendered dank smelling flower.

On an investment note, did we say we liked PIPEs?  TerrAscend just did a PIPE financing.  Folks, that’s the way to get funded!  And, TerrAscend had a fantastic Q1 quarter with a 34% revenue increase to $34.8 million and forecasting $45 million for the next quarter!  Positive EBITDA too!  All is going well with TerrAscend.  Congratulations to a Canadian success in the US market!  Do you have any Sativa?
