Strain Integrity
From the OCS website, ” Polar Kish is an indica-dominant hybrid with a fruity berry aroma and taste. With very strong THC potency, its buds are shades of purple. It’s 100% hydroponic, hand-trimmed and hang-dried indoors. Its terpene profile includes beta- and trans-caryophyllene, nerolidol, guaiol and limonene, and it’s available in 3.5 g, 7 g and 15 g dried flower weights. ”
Note: While we belive Polar Kish is a Shishkaberry phenotype, Polar Kish effects are more sedative than Shishkaberry. For reference, we include Leafy’s Shishkaberry strain description below.
According to Leafly, ” Shishkaberry, or “Kish,” is an indica-dominant hybrid that came about from crossing DJ Short Blueberry with an unknown Afghani strain. This plant will mature in 8 to 9 weeks and should yield a fairly high amount of flowers. Shiskaberry’s buds have a fruit and berry aroma and will be painted with shades of purple. Its initial head buzz is happy and good for finishing things up or being social, but will slip into a lazy high over time. ”
23% price drop review
A 23% price drop is the time to review Polar Kish, a 100% hydroponic, by Northern Green Canada. Packaged on November 8, 2019, Polar Kish was very dry with 14.0% THC. There’s a mild faint scent of berries as this is probably some Shishkaberry strain.
The “high” starts with an uplifting sense with increasing energy and mild exuberance. Polar Kish has a clear mental focus with mild euphoria blending energy, creativity and optimism to create a classic Shishkaberry world. This is a creeper as the effects continue well past the twenty minute mark. As the effects strengthens, we could start to feel the sedative effects on our mind and body. Half an hour after inhalation, we were fully emerged into the Polar Kish world.
The last hour is increasing mind and body relaxation. We also amped up the volume with a 0.40 grams session but it did not scale well. Higher dosing increased sedative effects nominaly. There were minimal time dilation and short term memory loss, which means it is a very functional “high.”
Activity pairing should be limited to evening time activities preferably something non-physical. This Polar Kish has a shorter sativa effects as the indica sedative effects started half an hour after inhalation. The lower THC may have resulted in a mid-level intensity “high.” Polar Kish last about two hours with a complete relaxation and sedation at the end, which makes it easier to fall asleep.
