Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, “ Durga Mata, bred by Paradise Seeds, is an indica-driven strain. Despite being 90% indica, it acts unlike other predominately indica strains. With flavors best described as reminiscent of Turkish Delight, it offers a long-lasting relaxing body buzz without the couch potato effect. This strain has a natural resistance to pests and survives through rough treatment, which makes it a recommended choice for beginners and outdoor growers.

From the OCS website, ” Durga Mata, the mother Hindu goddess, is a 90% Indica strain with roots originating in the natural landraces of South Asia. The moss green arrow-shaped buds are speckled with amber hair and coated in a sweet resin from a myriad of crystal trichomes. The earthy, sweet and citrusy aroma is reminiscent of Italian Panettone.

Note:  There are two types of Durga Mata.  Durga Mata 2 is the CBD version.  This Durga Mata is the THC version.

A Hindu Divinity

Would we buy this again?  We would buy from the Verdélite facility and team again.   This Durga Mata hits in the $30 to $40 per 3.5 grams price range, a top shelf product.  This is a double whammer winner with price and potency.

On an investment note, the decision to sell the Verdélite facility and team to a “Shell” company is to bring a craft grower to market just like GTEC, Rubicon or 48North is to make more money?  (It’s actually better to fund privately when it is a small business or do PIPE deals like Rubicon.)  The problem is two folds;  being profitable with a smaller revenue base and the burn of the listing cost of a public company is very expensive.  Having a lot of experience in taking private companies public, the traditional minimum $30 million revenues and profitable are critical criterias to achieve to survive the public market.  Only tech companies have been able to defy those metrics.  “Weed” companies are not tech companies because tech companies can be extremely scalable and profitable.
