Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, ” An in-house cross by the Cookies Fam, Gelatti uses an unreleased Gelato and an OG Biscotti cut to create a beautiful new hybrid. Hard to find outside of California, like most Cookies genetics, Gelatti packs a punch with dense, kushy nugs that come with big oily trichomes. The straight gas terpenes will make any old school OG lover’s day with a thick mouthful that coats your senses as you exhale into a stoney haze.

From the OCS website, “ Upon first smell, one can expect to find a spicy aroma with hints of hops and earthy undertones. Large dense buds with a thick layer of trichomes are Gelatti’s trademark. Hang Dried and hand trimmed to preserve aroma and flavours.

Bombs away!

Gelatti by Msiku was packaged on June 5, 2020, have 22.5% THC and a strong exotic medicinal fragrance cost $46.95 for 3.5 grams.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

With 22.5% THC, a Gelatti launch will be a fast one and it did not disappoint.   The “high” arrives with trumpets blaring we could feel the energy rushing into our minds and bodies with each inhalation.  By the end of the inhalation session, we felt like we were on the runway of an aircraft carrier taking off.  Then, we lost all sense of reality as the time bombs disorientate sending us into a new world of euphoria blissfulness.  The Magic Carpet has arrived.  Hop on please.

The first half hour was an intense cerebral euphoric blissfulness.  The second half of the first hour, a complete body relaxation emerges slowing our heartbeats to a more natural rhythm refreshing our souls. It is interesting to note the younger crowd here gravitates more to Indica.  We think, however, everyone would resonate with Gelatti regardless of age.  Gelatti’s “high” last a solid two hours with another hour of relaxation mode.

Activity pairing is best for “Me” time and a start to the weekend after a very stressful week.  Gelatti is a fine example of what Indica brings to the table for us human beings.  It gives us a little Shelter of space and time from the never ending demands of Life.  And according to a 50 year old Rolling Stone song, “You can’t always get what you want.  But if you try sometime, you just might find you’ll get what you need.”

Conclusion

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  This is one of the more enjoyable Indica we have had for a while.  The combination of cerebral fireworks and crushing euphoria resonated in technicolours.  This is expensive but it did not leave a bitter aftertaste.  Gelatti by Msiku is worth trying.

On an investment note, legal cannabis finally surpass the illicit market in the 2nd quarter of 2020, according to Statistics Canada.  With the winds on their back, the Msiku Brand from AtlantiCann Medical Inc. generated a total of $3.4 million and contributed $1.3 million in revenues to MJardin, a publicly listed Colorado based LP, in their Q2 ending June 30, 2020, which is awesome.  We are really big fans of this new LP Brand, Msiku and the AtlantiCann Medical 3-way ownership structure is interesting with Mi’kmaq First Nations of Nova Scotia (51%), MJardin (38%) and Halef (10%).  We are truly excited for the Mi’kmaq First Nations of Nova Scotia.
