Pacific OG a Tantalus Labs cultivar packaged on July 11, 2020, a month ago, cost $42.95 for 3.5 grams with 24.7% THC and a light fragrantful scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

The “high” is a killa mind ripper as Pacific OG threw our entire review intent out the window.  At the 20 minute mark, our minds were paralyzed with intense creative thoughtfulness swimming in euphoria and happiness broken suddenly by a mini anxiety attack when we realized we forgot it was “Recording” time.  Last time this happened was the FIGR Wappa.  Dis is da good stuff … Pacific OG … a wrecking ball.

Tantalus Labs is impressing us all.  This Pacific OG is very enjoyable with a powerful start unfolding into a brilliant creative sunny optimistic “high.”  Tantalus is using a merit based pricing on THC and quality and this is their pricest flower, which is also the most dazzling.  The 24.7% THC is an elite level performance … more than our very expensive Cherry Punch from BLKMKT.  This Pacific OG is appropriately priced given the 24.7% THC.

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  Tantalus’s Sky Pilot with 22.0% is currently available for $134.95 for 15 grams is something we would like to see with Pacific OG?  We believe Tantalus Labs has one of the most dynamic pricing strategy/tactics and we fully support their execution.  We know strong THC is hard to achieve so we are willing to pay but please deliver the THC levels … just like Tantalus Labs.

On an investment note, we are finally seeing the emergence of craft growers.  Craft growers entering the medical/legal cannabis markets through collectives like Shelter, 7 Acres Craft Collective  and  Canopy CraftGrow, to name a few, are producing better quality products and have more sustainable business models with community roots and involvement.  Tantalus Labs, a craft grower, hitting their production flow dialing in their strains is a beautiful achievement.
