Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, ” Heir to the GSC throne is Sherbert, also known as Sherbet and/or Sunset Sherbert, an indica-leaning hybrid with intoxicatingly potent effects. Bred by Mr. Sherbinski, Sherbert inherits the genetic lineage of its GSC parent, whose ancestors include the famed OG Kush, Cherry Pie, and Durban Poison. Crossed with Pink Panties, Sherbert exhibits powerful full-body effects elevated by a jolt of cerebral energy. A complex aroma colors Sherbert with notes of skunky citrus, sweet berry, and that candy-like smell redolent of its GSC parent. Stress, tension, and sour moods melt away with the carefree mindset and physical relaxation that comes with this rich hybrid.

From the OCS website, ” Sunset Sherbet is an indica dominant hybrid (85% indica/15% sativa) strain that is a potent cross between the hugely popular GSC X Pink Panties strains. This dank bud boasts a THC level ranging from 21-26%. Sunset Sherbet has the aroma of bubble-gum and berries, and it tastes of sherbet with a sweet earthy aftertaste that intensifies as you exhale.

The Perfect Sunset is a Sunset Sherbet

Sunset Sherbet by Citizen Stash packaged on September 17, 2020, cost $51.95 for 3.5 grams with 25.5% THC and a sweet earthy medicinal and faint piney scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

We should all know by now that a 25.5% THC “high” is always fast and intensely strong.  Sunset Sherbet’s “high” is immediate and forceful once engaged after the end of the inhalation session.  Higher THC levels translate to stronger time dilation and memory loss effects.  But, Sunset Sherbet is also very terpy adding volume to the “high”  with euphoria, tranquil blissfulness and creamy creativeness.  Ten minutes and da “Magic Carpet” arrives to take us away to a quiet peaceful happy place to heal and rejuvenate.  For the fans of Indica, Sunset Sherbet by Citizen Stash delivers that “Sunset that leaves you feeling so “high.””  Yum.

Unfortunately, super expensive and super enjoyable is a bad combination.  Time has slowed to a crawl as we approach the half hour mark.   Couch locked and caught in a mental floss?  a type of destressing that can be very mentally cleansing.  The first hour literally flew by as we felt very relaxed and chilled going into the second hour.  This is an Indica that can resonate with everyone including fans of sativa.

Activity pairing is best for the evening time slot.  The strong Indica tranquilizing effect is perfect for “Me” time to heal and rejuvenate.  Sunset Sherbet can really shine as the “Last Call” for the evening to end the day.

Intensity:  8.2

Duration:  8.2

Total:  8.4

Cost:  $51.95 for 3.5 grams

Would we buy this again?  Unfortunately, not at this price point.  While we really enjoyed Sunset Sherbet by Citizen Stash, there are comparable “high” at much lower cost.  Redecan Cold Creek Kush with 23% THC delivers crushing euphoria for $24.95 for 3.5 grams.  But, this Sunset Sherbet delivers crushing euphoria with a thick layer of rich creativity over flowing with joy.  That will be $25 more please.

On an investment note, we are surprised by how clean Experion Holdings Ltd. looked.  Experion have no debt with an excellent current ratio and a very reasonable SG&A (32% of revenues exactly where it should be).  WOW.  These folks are running a very tight ship.  While we criticized small companies for being too small to be public, we are impressed with the financial discipline showed by Experion.  We do not own shares in Experion Holdings Ltd..
