Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, ” As the name suggests, Tutti Frutti provides a blast of fruit flavor that sativa lovers will flock to. Flash Seeds has taken genetic traits from Blue Haze, Green Haze, Thai, and others, then mixed in a fast-finishing ruderalis to create an automatic flowering strain that provides potent euphoric effects. The effects are known to come on slow, so be patient with these uplifting buds.

From the OCS website, ” BOAZ Craft Cannabis Tutti Frutti is the result of a cross between Clementine and Purple Punch that results in a high potency, sativa-dominant hybrid. The buds are big, light green with amber, purple and red pistils and dark green leaves. It offers a blast of sweet citrus (alpha-pinene) and berry flavours with floral (bisabolol) and diesel (myrcene) aromas.

Note:  There is some confusion as to Tutti Fruitti genetics.  According to BOAZ, Clementine and Purple Punch is Tutti Fruitti by Freedom Cannabis.  Tutti Fruitti by Flash Seeds, however, is a cross between Blue Haze, Green Haze and Thai by Flash Seeds.  Are we all suitably confused?  The bottom line is BOAZ’s Fruitti taste like Clementine, or the Mimosa strain.

Anyone for Clementine?

Craft Heavy Duty Fruitti by BOAZ packaged on October 14, 2020, cost $51.95 for 3.5 grams with 18.18% THC and a scent with hints of oranges.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

The “high” starts with a rising goodwill euphoria oozing with happiness.  The cobwebs clear with the increasing vibrant outlook and motivational energy.  We seem very happily motivated to do things.  Ten minutes into the session, which felt like twenty minutes, we were fully immersed into a happy joyful euphoric world with a clear creative disposition.   The “high” was very absorbing putting us into another reality dimension that can only be seen under the influence of a Tutti Fruitti?

We have to admit 18.18% THC is on the low side for the price.  The first hour passed quickly with a drop in intensity but still engaging and entertaining.  While Craft Heavy Duty Fruitti  “high” was enjoyable, the lower THC meant a lower intensity to start and a bigger drop in intensity after an hour.  It’s a triple whammer after paying $51.95 for 3.5 grams.

Activity pairing is ideal for the day time slots and productivity focus activities are best.  Cannabis that can help us perform better have a place in our lives.  For us, strains like Craft Heavy Duty Fruitti that can enhance our intellectual and creative productivity will always have a place in our daily rotation.

Craft Heavy Duty Fruitti (Tutti Fruitti) by BOAZ

Credit to the eagle eye reddit User who identify MMMosa by WINK and Heavy Duty Fruitti as the same strain from Freedom Cannabis, a licensed grower without access to the recreational market?  Craft Heavy Duty Fruitti by BOAZ from Freedom Cannabis is a premium sativa delivering an elegant “high” experience for those who can afford it.

THC:  18.18%

Quality:  8.3

Intensity:  8.0

Duration:  8.0

Total:  8.1

Cost:  $51.95 for 3.5 grams

Would we buy this again?  No, it is too expensive.  MMMosa by WINK is the same strain and much cheaper.  After reviewing BOAZ stellar Mandarin Cookies, this Craft Heavy Duty Fruitti was less satisfying.  Freedom Cannabis, however, are capable growers for those who can afford BOAZ’s price “Enjoy.”

On an investment note, Freedom Cannabis’s products sold through WINK and BOAZ illustrate the interesting nature of the Canadian regulatory environment.  Just because a grower is licensed to grow doesn’t mean they can sell recreationally.  The right to “Sell” is another Canadian cannabis industry horror show.
