Strain Integrity

From the OCS website, ” The bud is light green, which is a result of extensive trichome coverage, this includes exotic strikes of purple and light brown pistils throughout. Density is moderate with minimal loose leaf. The aroma is floral with earthy undertones.

According to WikiLeaf on Acapulco Gold, ” Acapulco Gold is a Sativa-dominant hybrid known for the golden hue of its green and/or brownish buds. This old strain is said to produce a powerful cerebral high that raises one’s mood without producing overpowering feelings of happiness. Instead, the cerebral high mixes with a calming body high for a relaxing experience. Mild paranoia and anxiety have also been reported. Users may experience dry mouth and eyes as well as headaches from using the strain.

Note:  While we assume Sinaloa Gold is a phenotype of Acapulco Gold, we cannot confirm for sure.

A phenotype of Acapulco Gold?

Sinaloa Gold by Delta 9 packaged on December 12, 2020, cost $23.95 for 3.5 grams with a strong pleasant industrial exotic scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

The “high” starts about 5 minutes after the inhalation session with a rising buzzing euphoria.  A bit past the 10 minute mark, we find ourselves fully under the influence of a sparkly clear joyfully creative “high.”  There is some similarity with WMMC’s Acapulco Gold, which would be expected if Sinaloa Gold is a phenotype of Acapulco Gold.  Past the 15 minute mark, time dilation in full swing decoupling us from reality to deliver a very nice sativa “high.”  Good Job Delta 9!

We are very impressed with Sinaloa Gold by Delta 9 at only $23.95 for 3.5 grams.  Legal weed in Canada is really good these days.  Delta 9, Good Supply, RIFF and Twd all have that industrial smell, look and feel.   But, they all deliver good effects while tasting very unremarkable, or terrible in some cases.  This Sinaloa Gold by Delta 9 taste like “weed.”  At the end of the day, these producers deliver affordable effects.

Activity pairing covers everything except bedtime.  Sinaloa Gold delivers the traditional vibrant sativa experience with a good energy pickup.  This is also a weaponizable strain to get stuff done.

Conclusion

Sinaloa Gold by Delta 9

We believe the $23 to $27 for 3.5 grams is the sweet spot for price and effects.  Sinaloa Gold is priced at the sweet spot delivering a satisfying effect experience.

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  Sinola Gold is a cheap approximation of Acapulco Gold delivered a very enjoyable experience for us.  We like the price point and the effects.  If you like Sativa, give this Sinaloa Gold by Delta 9 try.

On an investment note, we do feel pressure to give Delta 9 a positive spin because we have an ex-Gordon Capital Partner on Delta 9’s Board of Director, which we have not succumbed too.  But without reservation, Sinaloa Gold is the type of product that should help Delta 9 be successful.  Good genetic selection and growing execution delivering a product at a  competitive price point is not easy.  Kudos to the Delta 9 team.
