Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, ” Tangerine Dream is a sativa-leaning strain with effects that may reduce pain and increase energy. Tangerine Dream (from the illustrious Barney’s Farm) is a cross of G13, Afghani, and Neville’s A5 Haze. Consuming too much Tangerine Dream may leave you stuck in the couch, as this strain was crafted to meet the demands of medical patients. Uplifting and euphoric, it provides consumers with mental clarity while deeply relaxing muscles. Tangerine Dream typically flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and features a citrusy aroma.

From the OCS website, ” Tangie Green is a tangerine dream crafted and perfected by the good people at Good Supply. A new bud for our buds, this Kush is bursting with orange hairs and dripping with fragrant tangerine aroma thanks to its rich terpene profile.

Cheap Sativa pickup “high”

Tangie Green aka Tangerine Dream by Good Supply (Aphria) packaged on March 2, 2021, cost $23.95 for 3.5 grams with 19.691% THC and a peppery citrus scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

The “high” starts with a steady rise in energy and euphoria.  There is a “Buzzing” in the air when creativity enters our “high.”  Catching us unaware, Mr. Time Dilation and Missy Memory hijacked our reality and 15 minutes disappeared.  Everything feels like it’s moving but we are sitting still.  A quick half an hour later, the “high” delivered a good balance of creative distractions, time warping euphoria and badly misbehaved memory for a good time?

Past the first hour, the decline in intensity was noticeable but remained very enjoyable.  We would categorise this as a “Party Sativa.”  The “high” last two hours and the third hour felt a bit lethargic, or tranquilized.

Activity pairing is best for the latter part of the day, or as an evening refresh and pickup.  While not overwhelming, Tangie Green’s “high” can provide a steady motivational energy flow to get things done.

Conclusion

Tangie Green (Tangerine Dream) by Good Supply (Aphria)

Tangie Green (Tangerine Dream) by Good Supply (Aphria) is a decent cheap sativa delivering a Party atmosphere.  Tangie Green delivered good hazy energy with creative spin cycles to transform reality to something more vibrant.  At $23.95 for 3.5 grams, or $147.25 for 28 grams, Tangie Green is a good deal.  Prior to legalisation, this price and quality would be considered a very good deal in the grey market.  It’s here and it’s “Legal” and “Tested.”

THC:  19.69%

Quality:  7.8

Intensity:  8.1

Duration:  8.0

Total:  7.96

Cost:  $23.95 for 3.5 grams, $147.25 for 28 grams

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  For the price, we believe Good Supply’s  Tangie Green represent a decent value for the money.  We are, however, cautious with Good Supply and RIFF products being “highly” dependent on THC percentages.  Specifically, our past recommendations repurchase of DT81 and Monkey Glue with lower THC have yielded less than satisfied underwhelming experiences for ourselves and our readers.

On an investment note, action speaks louder than words.  The merger between Aphria and Tilray is driven by Aphria given the breakup fee is payable to Tilray.  The 24% decline in revenues for Aphria’s last quarter is extremely concerning given the sub-par products on the shelves.  Is Aphria seeing something worrisome?
