Strain Integrity

According to Leafly, ” Melon Gum was born with the crossing of Lavender and Bubble Gum, who pass on a combination of fruity flavors and vibrant bud coloration. Sweet notes of melon, strawberry, and lemon come together to create an intricate flavor profile that lends this strain its name. Melon Gum produces heavy yields following its 50 to 57 day flowering time indoors, and outdoor cultivators should plan to harvest during the September and October transition.

From Cruuzy, ” Cruuzy is dropping Patio Season in honour of Canada’s birthday and the most uplifting time of year. This limited release, prime sativa-dominant is exactly what you want from a sativa. It dishes out bold, flavourful aromas that are nothing short of stunning. But, much like the days of summer, this strain is only here for a few months, so you’ll have to order before last call.

Summertime happiness?

Patio Season Sativa aka Melon Gum by Cruuzy (Galaxie Brands) packaged on May 10, 2021, cost $39.95 for 3.5 grams with 21.78% THC 1.65% Total Terpenes and a very faint hint of floral something.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

The “high” starts with a slow awakening of our senses over the first 10 minutes.  Light euphoria slowly transform with increasing intensity, creativity and a sense of well being.  Between the 15 and 20 minute mark, this Melon Gum “high” hits its stride.  Melon Gum is a medium speed take off type of “high.”  At the 20 minute mark, the energy boost kicked up a notch providing increase rigidity to our exoskeleton.  It’s a buzzy type of “high,” which may work well in a summer patio.

Past the half hour, our patio session’s “high” is in full swing.  We are all euphorically creatively empathetically happy with an abundance of curiosity, which makes for great conversations.  Yep, this Melon Gum is more of a party sativa.  Everything is a bit hazy and fluid.  There is no “high” expressions that really stood out.  We got the two hours of “high” with some relaxing vibe that lingers for a bit longer.

Activity pairing is best for the daytime slots.  A summer patio session with Melon Gum could work well.
