From Highly Dutch, ” Made from trichome-rich organic bud, this traditional black hash is slow-cured and pressed until it becomes soft and gummy, with just the right amount of crumble. Dark on the outside and light brown on the inside, Organic Afghan Black has a classic, spicy aroma with a full-bodied, pure, and refined flavour. Your taste buds won’t want to miss this. ”
Dazed and Confused
Organic Afghan Black by Highly Dutch (The Green Organic Dutchman) packaged on May 7, 2021, cost $29.71 for 2 grams with 28.89% THC and an earthy spice scent. It looks and smells like Moroccan hash. Our test amount was 0.15 grams on a pipe.
The “high” starts during the lengthy inhalation session, which took ten minutes. Starting with a euphoric awareness, the “high” is a steady increase of body and mind numbing tranquilizing effects. Is this a body euphoria? Approaching the 20 minute mark, we get the floating feeling of a hazy world as intensity continues to increase. Remarkably, the haziness slowly clears and our mental focus became sharper as the “high” progress.
Life is all about expectations and we have a lot of expectations from a name like Afghan Black. And sadly, none of our expectations materialized. Black Afghani can be sliced with a razor blade into thin wafers of hashish and does not crumble like this hash. Want to know what a Black Afghani “high” is like? Activity pairing for Afghan Black is best for the evening time slots. For us, Afghan Black has a strong sedative element to the “high” to deliver a Dazed and Confused reality, which is excellent before bed.
Organic Afghan Black by Highly Dutch (The Green Organic Dutchman)
We were looking for the Black Afghani Gold Seal “high” but we got something different. We did get “high” and the experience last a solid hour with another hour of chill vibes. Afghani Black by Highly Dutch delivered a tranquilizing Indica “high.”
Cost: $29.71 for 2 grams
Would we buy this again? Yes. This is relatively cheap hash with decent tranquilizing effects. Because of the nice crumble quality of the hash, we would use this for hash joints at the end of the day when we need something with an extra boost. We would also recommend Legacy Hashish (price has been reduced) for a good Hash experience.
On an investment note, TGOD continues to go through their financial gyrations to save themselves with the most recent a sale and leaseback agreement for their Quebec facility. TGOD is one of a handful of cannabis cultivators using the “Living Soil” technique. We would advise TGOD to use CannMart aggressively to manage their inventory. Good Luck.
