According to Leafly, ” Bruce Banner, also known as “Banner” and “OG Banner,” is a hybrid marijuana strain. Bruce Banner might be best known as the alter-ego of comic book hero The Incredible Hulk, but maybe he wouldn’t be such a stressed out ball of anger if he just had some of his namesake strain. This green monster also has hidden strength and features dense nugs that pack the power of very high THC content. It’s a powerful hyrbid strain whose effects come on quickly and strong and then tend to settle into a euphoric and creative buzz. The effects of this strain are most evident and linger mostly in the head, but it may also provide body relaxation that make it an appropriate daytime bud for some. Dark Horse Genetics bred this strain from OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel, and its heritage can be found in its diesel aroma with sweet undertones. Plants flower at 8 to 10 weeks. This strain does have three main phenotypes, one of which is Bruce Banner #3. ”

Note:  It appears this B. Banner by Bold is the same phenotype as Prairie Grass’s B-Banner.  They are both Bruce Banner #3.

Be a “Hulk”

B. Banner by Bold Growth Inc. packaged on May 28, 2021, cost $39.95 for 3.5 grams with a light sweet floral scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 grams.

The “high” starts as we inhale.  This B. Banner transformation begins with earnest after inhalation ended.  Euphoric buzzing intensified.  Mr. T Dilation landed with a “Thump!” and, we lost contact with reality.  Copious amount of euphoria is the main expression for this B. Banner by Bold.

Twenty minutes disappeared as B. Banner’s “high” transformed to a sense of joyful and expansive creative euphoric awareness with a tinge of body tranquility to create the floaty feeling.  Half an hour later, we found ourselves just drifting through a timeless space wrapped in a joyful creative blissful cocoon.

This is an excellent phenotype of B. Banner just like B-Banner from Prairie Grass.  This phenotype delivers an intense fully absorptive and forceful euphoric “high.”  Every “high” is a Session.  Past the first hour, the intensity of the “high” decline was replaced with increased sedation.

Activity pairing is best for the latter part of the day.  For us, this B. Banner had a bit more Indica overtone at the end point, which made the ending a bit more lethargic, or tranquilised.

B. Banner by Bold Growth Inc.

This is an Incredible Hulk renaissance with a Prairie Grass B-Banner and now a Bold’s B. Banner.   These are both amazing renditions of the Incredible Hulk.  It is always a treat to enjoy an oldie, but goodie.  This is an opportunity to try another rendition of an old cultivar, The Incredible Hulk.

Would we buy this again?  Maybe.  We have, however, enough Prairie Grass’s B. Banner to last us until the next drop at ShelterMarket in September, October and December.  How kewl is that to know when freshly harvested cannabis is going to hit the market?  But, if you have not tried Bold’s rendition of the Incredible Hulk, this is the opportunity.

On an investment note, we recommend all daily Canadian cannabis consumer to consider medical cannabis as an alternative source of cheaper and more effective cannabis.  The flood of new micro-cultivators are emerging in the legal recreational market through Collective markets like 7 Acres Craft Collective, Delta 9, Citizen Stash and ShelterMarket.  These are disruptive trends for the big box LPs.
