Strain Integrity
From the OCS website, ” Qwest was born from a deep appreciation for the plant and its process. We are here for the journey every grower undertakes with each new harvest, and we respect that even with the most familiar cultivars there’s always opportunity to go beyond the ordinary. If berry terps are what you seek then look no further. Qwest Blueberry Syrup brings you notes of sweet, fermented black currents. A cross of Blueberry and Cherry Pie Kush, this cultivar reinterprets the fresh fruit and dank kush elements of its parents into a spiced and potent berry jam. It’s a compote for those who prefer an indica lean. ”
According to allbud.com, “ Blueberry Syrup is an indica dominant hybrid strain (80% indica/20% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Blueberry X Cherry Pie Kush strains …. The Blueberry Syrup high is just as delicious as the flavor, with elevated effects that are said to be like enjoying a glass or two of a fine wine after a long and stressful day. You’ll feel euphoric with a sense of buzzy happiness that fills your brain with an almost fuzzy haze that can have you giggling at times. A relaxing body high accompanies this cerebral state, lulling you into a lightly numb and almost couch-locked feeling of pure calm and ease. In combination with its super high 23-24% average THC level, these soothing effects make Blueberry Syrup perfect for treating chronic pain, appetite loss or nausea, insomnia and depression….”

With an unremarkable almost tasteless inhalation session, Blueberry Syrup’s “high” starts with Bliss and more Bliss. Blueberry Syrup is All About the Bliss. In the first 10 minutes, euphoric blissfulness dominated the Space between our Ears. Body effects tranquilize and sedate with euphoric numbness to squelch any anxiety. At the 45 minute mark, this Submarine is going on a Deep Dive into the Abyss.
In the great outdoors, Blueberry Syrup is another one of those Indica strains with a vibrant blissful smooth energy euphoric “high,” almost like a Sativa. Blueberry Syrup produced engaging moments with clear euphoric cognition, which was surprisingly refreshing. Past the hour mark, however, body sedation increases with tranquilizing effects.
Activity pairing is best in the evening time slots. Blueberry Syrup delivered a “high” with a Sativa opening and an Indica ending. Blueberry Syrup is enjoyable.

Would we buy this again? No. While we enjoyed Blueberry Syrup by Qwest, there are cheaper alternatives like Gnomestar Meat Breath, or 14 Grams of Ghost Drop’s First Class Funk for $99? Opps, sorry they are sold out.
On an investment note, Qwest has improved under Decibel management. While Qwest is more competitive in the Premium cannabis space, the need to offer 14 Grams will be critical in being relevant in the recreational cannabis market.
