EmergenZ by Broken Coast (Tilray/Aphria) packaged on January 3, 2024, cost $59.75 for 7 grams with 27.852% THC 2.83% Total Terpenes and an orange floral herbal scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 gram.

With an orange flavoured inhalation session, the “high” starts with a light shift in awareness to a more euphoric view.  Over the first 15 minutes, EmergenZ steady increase in Euphoria engulfed our Senses transforming Reality to a World of Possibilities embellished with Curiosity and a blissful topping.   This is an interesting Profile.

In the great outdoors, EmergenZ started with a strong blissful Sedation “high” affecting mind and body with tranquilising effectiveness.  After half an hour, the strong blissfulness receded and sativa expressions began to unfold.

Activity pairing is best in the latter part of the day.  EmergenZ is an Indica leaning “high” with strong blissful overtones over a hazy cerebral dream state.  Be Lazy.

Would we buy this again?  Maybe.  While Broken Coast has EmergenZ categorised as a Sativa dominant, it is hard imagine this is a Sativa given the linage are Sunset Sherbet x Orange Push Pop?  The “high” is more a hybrid Indica experience.  Alternative options include Triple Burger by Tribal, Slurty3 by Carmel, or Organic Gelato #41 by 1964.  But, anything from Broken Coast is worth trying.

On an investment note, in trying to determine what works in the cannabis market, what is interesting is Broken Coast’s stable menu of strains and new additions like EmergenZ is rare.  Is this the Strategy to have a Strain where the World will beat a path to your door?  Yes.  From Broken Coast, it is their Sour OG for Us.
