Strain Integrity

From the OCS, ” A rotating selection of craft flower from Amani Craft in Lake Country, BC. Each bag features beautiful buds that are hand-trimmed, hand-packaged, and never irradiated. ”

According to allbud, com, ” Rockstar, not to be confused with its cousin “Rockstar OG” strains, is a indica dominant hybrid (70% indica/30% sativa) strain created through a cross of the popular Rock Bud X Sensi Star strains. The Rockstar high is characterized by strong-hitting effects powered by a 14-19% average THC level without the sedation that typically comes with an indica parent. The Rockstar high starts with a cerebral head rush a few minutes after toking that leaves you uplifted and extremely happy with active tendencies and motivation. As this powerful head high builds, you’ll slowly feel a creeping body buzz wash over you that leaves you completely relaxed in every single muscle, leaving you helplessly couch-locked and in a state of pure bliss. Despite these powerful muscle-relaxing effects, Rockstar surprisingly won’t leave you sedated in the least bit….  ”

Purchased from a Real Drug Dealer: Green Line Cannabis

old school genetics

Rockstar by Amani Craft Cannabis packaged on May 29, 2025, cost $65.99 for 7 grams with 28.94% THC 4.39% Total Terpenes and a strong earthy herbal gassy piney scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 gram.

The “high” starts with an old school Indica tasting inhalation session and a Blissful “hello.”  Over the first 15 minutes, this Rockstar unfolds with increasing Blissful tranquilisation lowering the heart beat and rhythm to Drift into a Calm Space to refresh and relax.  The intensity is Strong.

In the great outdoors, Rockstar started with a calm sedated blissful “high” turning down the environmental sounds around us.   Over the first hour, Rockstar slowly increased the blissful sedation effects until triangulating Reality becomes a problem.  This Rockstar is all about the tranquilising effect.

Activity pairing is best as an after dinner “high” to drift off into the evening.  This Rockstar is a hybrid Indica with strong tranquilisation and a touch of cerebral spark.

Conclusion

Rockstar by Amani Craft Cannabis

Rockstar by Amani Craft Cannabis is a new drop from a new micro-craft grower.  This review was motivated by the curiosity in checking out an old classic strain.  The bud structure and scent is from the Old days … from the 1990s.  This version of Rockstar, however, is more Indica leaning.

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  Rockstar by Amani is a well rendered hybrid Indica with a strong Indica leaning “high.”  Alternative options include Rare Cuts Facade by The Florist, Blowfish by EastCann. or Gas Face by Sixty Seven Sins.  These are recently reviewed hybrid Indica delivering Blissful “highs.”

On an investment note, Amani Craft is a micro-craft grower based in British Columbia.  Woody Nelson is the processor and distributor.
