Golden Tangie by Contraband (SNDL Inc) packaged on October 14, 2025, cost $42.95 for 7 grams with 26.87% THC and a sweet lime scent.  Our test amount was 0.26 gram.

With a lime flavoured inhalation session, the “high” starts with a light euphoric awakening and an immediate uplifting feel.  Over the first 15 minutes, Golden Tangie increased the cerebral effects to feel more creative and inspired.  Focus is mildly hazy and a bit of a noisy buzzy mental space.  This is a Sativa type of “high.”

In the great outdoors, Golden Tangie started with a euphoric alertness to instantly wake up. Over the first hour. Golden Tangie increased the cerebral effects and a happy disposition. Intensity is medium and functional.  The second hour is a little more blissful.

Would we buy this again?  Yes.  This is a cheap Sativa “high” that delivers the effects to boot energy and motivation.  Alternative options include Nordic Tangie by bleuh, Fire Crackers Smalls by BC Smalls, or Blue Thai by Spinach.  All of these are excellent cheap Sativa “highs.”

On an investment note, this was bought from the OCS because it was not available from our Real Drug Dealers.  SNDL sells their products through their own retail network like Value Buds, Spirit Leaf and Superette with Cost Cannabis in the process of being acquired.  The SNDL’s retail operations generated $34.7 million in revenues in Q3/2025 representing approximately 30.4% of SNDL’s cannabis revenues.   These folks compete with their own customers … our Real Drug Dealers.
